If its romance, family or friend bonding, rest, or relaxation you desire this is it. Pull up your canoe, raft or kayak on the property at the end of the day.  Fish from the dock. Take an outdoor shower then hop in the hot tub which is in a private location with a view of the river.

Howard’s Place is recently renovated fully furnished 2 bedroom, one bath, sleeping 6 with overlooking the Russian River with direct river access.  The home has its own deck, 40’ x 10’, and is located on the widest section of the river and cleanest water in the Guerneville area.  This is a great rental for a family and a couple (mom and Dad) or other extended family and friends.  Dock on the river for you to hop on your boat.

River front properties are hard to find, especially to rent.  Wild life abounds, there is a hill past the river with cows, plenty of birds in the elder and pine trees.  Stress melts away as you immerse yourself in nature.  The home is at the end of a very quiet street.  You won’t find many cars driving by.  The house has both privacy and direct river access – a rare combination. It is cozy, comfortable and the natural setting is gorgeous and relaxing.

To make your vacation enjoyable you will find a tankless Weber gas grill, kitchen that flows onto the deck, plenty of seating for dining or kicking back.  You are renting the whole house.  Three stairs to front door, the house is on one level, no stairs within the house.

The property is private and secluded surrounded by massive redwoods and elder trees overlooking the river.  The views are incredible.

Hiking trails are close by, you can even walk to the ocean or meander in the redwoods.  Drive 5 miles to Jenner/ocean.  There 16 state beaches within minutes.

Located just over the bridge is the quant town of Duncans Mills, with the Blue Heron, pub and music, Cape Fear, (restaurant), shopping, collecting, etc.  Close by is Guerneville, Jenner, Korbel winery, Dry Creek and other world famous wineries within a 45 minute.

Linens are included but not for use outside of the home.  Bring beach towels and sandals for jacuzzi and river outing.  House is fully furnished.

No smoking in home or on the property (due to the woodsy area and forest fires).

There is a bus system but you will probably want a car or bicycle to get around.

House has a single and a double kayak along with a paddle board.  Use all at your own risk.
